At Verified Metrics, there's no traditional login with a password. Instead, your API key serves as authentication. After validation, we create a secure session (HTTP-only cookie) that is valid for 24 hours. This way, you don't need to remember another password.

Yes, maximum security is our top priority. Your API key is stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM and never transmitted in plain text. We use HTTP-only cookies with SameSite=Strict, rate limiting on failed attempts (3 attempts, then 24h lockout), and you can use a read-only key - write access is not required.

Your metrics are automatically updated hourly. On your Trust Page, you'll always see the timestamp of the last update. Real-time data is not available, but for trust signals, hourly updates are more than sufficient.

By default: Total customers, active subscriptions, sales, average subscription duration, and new customers from the last 30 days. Optional (can be enabled in settings): MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue), MRR broken down by plans, and country distribution of your customers.

Yes, you can change your API key at any time in the settings. For security, you must confirm with your stored email address. The new key must belong to the same payment account. After the change, all existing sessions become invalid.

With PRO or WHITELABEL, you get access to the Embed tab in your dashboard. There you'll find an HTML code that you simply add to your website. You can choose between Light, Dark, or Auto theme. The widget automatically updates with your metrics.

You can cancel at any time effective at the end of the current billing period. Your Trust Page remains active with FREE features (publicly visible, hourly updates). Only the embeddable widget stops working after cancellation. To delete your business entry, you must first cancel your subscription.

The email address currently cannot be changed because it's needed for important security features: API key rotation and account deletion require email confirmation. Additionally, your email domain must match your website domain - this ensures you are the legitimate owner. In the future, this will enable security features like one-time codes for verifying changes.
